1. Who processes the data
dkharke.tech is a personal portfolio site. The data controller is
Denis Kharke. For any question about personal data:
denis.kharke@gmail.com.
2. What data is collected
The site has no forms, no sign-up and no user accounts — contact happens directly over email or Telegram. Data is collected in two cases.
Server logs
On every request the web server records the IP address, date and time, the requested path, the response code and the browser User-Agent string. This is needed to operate the site, diagnose failures and defend against attacks — the legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest. Logs are kept for no more than 30 days, then deleted, and are never used for profiling or advertising.
Analytics — only with your consent
If you press “Accept” in the banner, Yandex Metrica is loaded. It collects anonymised statistics: pages viewed, referrer, device type, browser and approximate region.
As of this revision, Metrica is not installed on the site — the banner and the switch were built ahead of time. Until consent is given, no third-party script loads at all: the counter's code sits in the markup in a non-executable form and is activated only after you press “Accept”.

The dk.consent entry is created only once you have made a choice
and stores that choice alone — without it the banner would have to appear on
every page. Every _ym_* entry appears strictly after consent and
is deleted when consent is withdrawn.
4. Sharing with third parties
- Hosting. The site runs on Selectel servers (Russia), where the server logs are kept.
- Analytics. With your consent, anonymised statistics are sent to Yandex LLC and processed under its own policy.
Data is never sold, never shared with ad networks, and never used for automated decision-making about you.
5. Your rights
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time — the “Cookie settings” and “Reject cookies” links in the footer of every page. On withdrawal the Metrica cookies are deleted and the page reloads without the counter.
- Request information about the processing of your data, its correction or its deletion — by email to denis.kharke@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA, GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection apply.
- Delete cookies yourself — through your browser's site settings.
6. Changes to this policy
The current version is 1. On material changes the version is incremented and consent is requested again. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page.
